1. Legal pages
- Privacy Policy — what we collect, why, and the Chrome extension permissions disclosure.
- Terms of Service — subscription, acceptable use, and data ownership.
- Refund Policy — monthly vs. annual plans and the 14-day refund window.
2. Billing & trial
How long is the trial? Every new workspace gets a 30-day free trial. No card is required to start.
What happens when the trial ends? Your workspace goes into read-only mode. Existing data is preserved; you can upgrade any time to restore write access.
How do I check my status? The Chrome extension shows a badge in the header (Trial, Active, or Past-due) right after sign-in. The web dashboard shows the same status in the top banner.
How do I cancel? From the web dashboard, open Settings → Workspace. Monthly fees are non-refundable; see the Refund Policy for annual plans.
3. What data does the Chrome extension store?
The extension uses chrome.storage.local only. Nothing is sent to third parties. Stored items:
- Session tokens — your Supabase access and refresh tokens, so you stay signed in between popup opens.
- Profile cache — your tenant name, role, driver ID, plan, and trial end date, so the header renders instantly.
- Driver mode preference — the on/off toggle for driver view.
- Seen bookings — a compact map of booking IDs and last known status, used to detect new bookings and status changes for notifications.
- Update check cache — the latest known extension version and the timestamp of the last check.
Signing out clears every item above. Uninstalling the extension removes the entire local storage area. We do not use cookies, we do not track your browsing, and we do not sell or share your data. See the Privacy Policy for the full disclosure.
4. Google sign-in from the extension
Chrome extension popups can't complete Google OAuth in-place, so the button opens the web app in a new tab. As soon as Google finishes and the web app is signed in, the extension picks up the session automatically — no manual step. If it stalls, click Check nowin the popup or sign in with email + password using the same account.
5. Notifications & email
The extension polls every two minutes in the background and raises a desktop notification for new bookings and major status changes. Email reminders and sign-up notifications are sent from info@taxi-webdesign.com.
